With the launch of the ARK ASA Servers, there was quite a split in the community. The die-hard fans who love the idea of a shiny new version of the game they loved, and the purists out there who dig in deep to stick to the original. Most were unhappy and thought that the remake of ARK was just a money grab to fund ARK 2.
Whatever the truth, the Salty Zombies community are enjoying the ARK ASA servers. Since the modding community stopped developing their ASE mods, it has caused even more bugs and issues for not just ASE players but also ASE server owners.
That's why we closed down our ASE servers and went full speed ahead with the new ARK ASA Servers: fewer bugs, better mods, and some pretty good optimizations. One thing you will notice off the bat is how fast it is to load into our ARK ASA Servers.

How To Join our ARK ASA Servers
You can connect to our ARK ASA Servers by searching for Salty Zombies in the server listings. Make sure you have "Unofficial" selected and the "show player servers" box checked in the bottom right corner. You might have to check that box on and off a few times to fully load every player server since Nitrado is forcing Nitrado servers only to show up.
If you still don't see our ARK ASA servers there, you can connect directly to them by pressing the ~ key, usually next to your 1 key. From there, you will see a little black console box come up. You can copy/paste the connection commands below:

Keeping the peace in a not so peaceful world
Exploits | Glitches | Hacking
Although ARK ASA Servers have many bugs and performance fixes compared to their ASE counterparts. However, like every game, there are always exploits and glitches. If you find any, please report them. If you are caught using an exploit/glitch, for example, a dupping glitch, you will be permanently banned. If you suspect someone of exploiting our ARK ASA Servers, please report it to an admin.
Toxicity Policy
It's not uncommon for certain members to have a negative impact on the community without breaking any actual rules. A few notable people are out there who specialise in being "Annoying". This could be a player who consistently begs for stuff or rubs other players up the wrong way consistently. On our ARK ASA Servers, if we deem a player to be toxic or have a negative impact on our community. They will be removed.
Common Sense Policy
We can't list every violation possible since players are always coming up with new ways to disrupt others' enjoyment. So, we have a common sense rule for our ARK ASA servers. Think about it like this: Would you still do it if you knew an admin was watching you? If the answer is "No," then you are probably breaking a Common Sense Rule. If you are unsure, then join our ARK Discord and ask an Admin or Moderator.

Cyber Structure Plus
This mod incorporates well-loved mechanics such as Wireless Crafting, ASA Snapping, and improved structure placement, while also delivering original features aimed at enhancing quality of life and expanding gameplay possibilities.
Nanoh's Spyglass
This mod adds a spyglass that allows you get a more detailed look at various aspects of Ark gameplay.
No Untameables
This mod adds the ability to tame untameable dinos in ARK ASA. It adds complete mechanic TLC for non-tameable creatures. Creatures have new features and abilities, and are balanced for vanilla gameplay.
Crazy's Crazy Potions
Crazy Potions By man himself "Crazy". These potions can be used for many things. Too many to list here.
Shiny Dinos
Another popular mod from the ASE world is now converted and optimized for ARK ASA Servers. This mod adds many more creatures to the maps with higher levels and unique abilities. They will spawn on the map randomly but only for a short amount of time.
ARK Shop
This is an ingame shop, you can buy things using the Salty Coins you earn by playing on our servers.
QOL+
What would an ARK ASA Server be without the classic QOL+ mod? This mod is essential for any ARK community.
Pelyayoris Cryo
It's an excellent replacement for the classic ASE Cryo Pods. This does the same thing, but it's way more optimised, configurable, and optimised on the ARK ASA Servers thanks to the Unreal Engin 5 update.

/Decaytime - Allows checking tribe decay times while looking at a tribe owned structure
/Stats - Command to check their stats (see DynamicStats for what is shown to the player)​

ARK ASA Servers Ranks
There is a shop in the game on our ARK ASA Servers. To open it, press F3, and you will see all the items that are for sale. The currency used to buy items for this shop is called "Salty Coins". You earn 50 Salty Coins every 30 minutes you play on our ARK ASA Servers. You can earn double or even triple that amount when you buy ranks.
It is important to note that not everyone can play on the server for hours on end. Most of us have family and work responsibilities that essentially come first. So, in addition to the ranks, you can buy Salty Coins from our main shop. We have 4 main ranks, each increasing your Salty Coin income and giving you a nice monthly bonus when you renew, along with numerous other perks.

Is ARK ASA Worth it?
Yes! You have probably seen many YouTube channels bashing ARK ASA's launch. Some of it has merit, but to be honest, 90% of these videos are just ARK ASA bashing with clickbait titles for the views. Sadly, big ARK YouTubers are more interested in the views for fame and money instead of supporting the game that made them.
ARK ASA has a ton of optimizations and bug fixes, and Curse Forge is in charge of the mods and the updated DevKit. The sky is the limit for what the modding community can do. So, 100% yes, ARK ASA is worth buying.
