Welcome Zurvivor! Looking to survive in the brutal weather and hazards of Chernarus? Are those zombies chasing you a long distance? Having a hard time finding that can of tactical bacon? Here on our DayZ PVE server, we have ways to make the game more fun. We strive to have a fun atmosphere that is welcoming to everyone. While there are the usual hazards, you won't have to go alone. Make friends, survive alone, or wander the map. Day or night, rain or sun, we have various ways to make every Zurvivor succeed.
For years, Namtek Innovations and Axiom Biotec Solutions have battled to be at the forefront of biotechnological advancements. Both companies have research centres all over the world and regularly make headlines.
Three months ago, reports from Namtek's Chernarus lab stopped. And then, two days later, news from the entire country of Chernarus was cut off when a strange, invisible barrier seemed to spring up around the country. From the outside looking in, you could see into Chernarus. But inside, looking out, you see an endless expanse of field that goes on and on and on. To try to cross it is to court death, as those who attempted to explore rarely returned. People looking in were helpless to communicate with those locked on the other side and could only watch as things went from uncertain to bad to terrifying.
This is where our players begin after the strange barrier has cut Chernarus off from the rest of the world, with no idea of what is going on.

Server Rules:
#1 Rule "Don't be a Dick!!!"
Keep chat civil, politics, and other hot button topics are offlimits.
No building in military zones, hospitals, or taking over entire towns.
No cutting quest givers and important quest locations off.
Players are only allowed one base and one professions team base.
No stealing from other players (this includes their bodies, vehicles and bases).
Hackers will be dealt with and banned.
Death by Dragonfire, wrecking your vehicle, and other hazards is at your own risk. Lost items will not be replaced.
Do not loot cycle, it lags the server.
Drop unwanted loot in the trash bins provided at every trader. Not the ground.
This is a pve only server. Do not circumvent the safeguards.

How To Join Our DayZ PVE Server
How to connect?
To join our DayZ PVE Server, click on Change Server, then click on the Community tab and search for Salty Zombies. When you see our server in the list, click on it and hit the Join button. You will be given the option to join the server with or without the mods. Obviously, you want to click the option to Setup DLCs and Mods and join.

Base Building Plus
The simple building system in DayZ is quite primitive. So we added this building plus mod to our DayZ PVE server.
BBP Item Pack
DayZ PVE would not be the same without pimping out your base with cool decorations. This mod allows you to do just that.
Bed Respawning
Nobody likes running far to hopefully get back to base without gear. This one puts you back where you last placed your bed or sleeping back.
RUSForma_vehicles
We would like everyone to have a better way to travel around the map on our DayZ PVE Servers. Just be careful. Some of these will make you stand out even more.
RUSForma Motocycles
Who doesn't want to ride around on two or three wheels? There are multiple options to go fast around corners!
Tombstone V+ +
We all feel sad when we lose our gear after working hard. With this one, you will see where you died and can get your stuff back. If you are fast enough.
Bullet Stack Plus
Carrying small stacks of ammo takes up space. With this, you can carry what you need without losing inventory space.
Trader & Trader Plus
Most items on our DayZ PVE server can be found at this trader. But you asked for more, so we got Trader Plus, where you can buy anything you need.
Advanced Weapon Scopes
That deer further away won't escape you with these scopes. See further with better scopes.
DayZ Dogs
Our DayZ Servers have man's best friend. Everyone needs a friend who will follow, sit, kill zombies, and eat. These furry friends will brighten your day.

Custom Chernarusplus Map
We have many unique locations on our customized Chernarusplus map. From traders and quest zones, to intense dungeon experiences, we've marked them all on our in game map for you. Should you find a pen in game, you'll be able to add your own custom markers for locations you want to remember.
Salty Zombies provides a unique survival experience in that the mobs on the map grow more difficult the further north and west you go. In the south east you will mostly only face zombies, but as you progress more and more dangerous creatures begin to spawn in the world, making survival a bigger challenge. Choose your home location wisely, as there are no safe areas in this world.

What To Do In Our DayZ PVE Servers
As a player, you are the agent of your own back story. Who you are, why you are in Cherno, these are mysteries that only you can write.
You will find plenty of opportunities to level up unique skills and give yourself an advantage in areas you enjoy playing the most. Do you want to become an expert hunter? The hunting skills are for you. Want to be able to perform complex surguries and help your fellow players? Medical and immunity skills are the route for you. There are countless ways you can develop your character.
We also have in game communities being built for players who specialize in a field. Would you like to join our medical team who comes to the rescue of new survivors? Perhaps you want to open your own towing company to help pull players from the crazy places they get their vehicles stuck? Contact a mod for more detail in how to join those teams.
Those teams come in handy with some of our more intense dungeon style locations. Filled with enemies, they are not for the faint of heart but are piled full of rewards should you survive them.
You have many options for basebuilding, from creating your own home from the ground up using BBP to construct a house, to cutting deals with the Thorns to build you a prefab house, there is always a way to create your own safe haven.
While you are exploring, you will meet many different people in the world. They've naturally grouped into factions and will react to you based on their own understanding of the world. Some will prove to be assets, others might be the cause of all of this. Explore the unique storyline to learn exactly what has happened here.. and maybe find a way out.
SIDE NOTE:
Many of our DayZ PVE community are also huge fans of our RUST PVE Server. They enjoy DayZ, but it lacks PVE mods and content. Although RUST is known for its toxicity, our RUST PVE Server doesn't have any of that, and we have added a massive amount of mods and PVE Content. You can raid and fight zombies, bosses, NPCs, an XP system, daily events, computer-generated bases, and more. When joining, go to the channels and Roles section at the top of the channel menu. There you can choose to follow the dayz section of the server. We have many fun and useful channels here. In Dayz News, updates made to the server are posted regularly.
