We have a pretty big player base for Valheim in our Discord. We also have a Valheim PVE Server that you can join with your friends or make new friends with us.
We have a wide range of players, from beginners to pros and our experienced members are always willing to help out and give advice. Valheim can have a bit of a learning curve, so having experienced friends will help.

Valheim Discord Rules
These are the chatting rules for our Valheim Discord. In general, don’t be rude, insulting or unnecessarily hostile to people. We don’t mind debates or members expressing different opinions but keep it clean and perhaps take any heated discussion into a private message. Make sure to keep away from politics, religion or controversial subjects. These rules also apply in the game chat for our Valheim PvE server. If you find someone breaking these rules, please use the chain of command and contact a moderator, do not tag an owner or admin.

- No nudity/vulgar/obscene pictures/memes/videos
- No advertising of other gaming servers/organizations
- If trash talking goes beyond friendly banter, you will be muted
- If someone is suspected of cheating, contact an admin or moderator

What Is Discord?
Discord is a popular group-chatting app, similar to the old school mIRC and was initially made for gamers to build their communities and talk, like our Valheim Discord and us, for example.
However, since its launch in 2015, it has become the home for many other types of communities. Like, cooking, dating and hobby communities. In a way, Discord is taking over what Facebook Groups used to be.
Discord thrived during the pandemic because many people had to work from home, so businesses opened up Discords to communicate with their staff, and schools were also known to use it for their students. Now there are over 150 million active users.
What is Valheim?
Valheim is a PvE game where you find yourself in a massive fantasy world straight out of Norse mythology and Viking culture all around. You start in the centre, a beautiful and relatively peaceful place. However, things start getting tougher as you begin exploring this world.
You have to survive the environment and all the monsters you face while ensuring you also have shelter and food. As the game progresses, you build a stronger home or even a castle, craft better weapons and armour, build a farm and much more.
WE’RE NOT JUST A VALHEIM DISCORD
At Salty Zombies, we don’t just host a Valheim Server. We have a few other games, like Minecraft, 7 Days To Die, Atlas, Empyrion etc. But more than that, we are a community. In our Valheim Discord, we have a Meme’s channel for the community to share their favourite and funniest #Memes. We also have a #Mugshots channel for people to share their real photos and a #Photography for any incredible images you want to show off. There is also a Music bot for people to hang out with and listen to songs.
