ChipGM Biography:

I am a long-time gamer. I started gaming on a ColecoVision playing the game Pong. Then I owned the Atari 2600, which I still own today with about 20 games. From there on out, I always owned the newest generation of consoles.

As for PC games, I started to play with computers when games were just text-based. My very first PC game was The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. From there, I played many PC games. From the original Unreal Tournament that started epic games, Starwars Galaxies, WOW and many more after that.

So how did I find Salty Zombies? I originally only played the Xbox console version. Then, I broke down and bought the PC version since I would not see any more updates. A friend and I were looking for a server to play on for 7 Days To Die. He found Salty Zombies, and we jumped on the server about 4 months before version 20 dropped. He stopped playing, and I stuck around since I loved the game.

When my friend left, I started socialising more with the other players on the server. This was when I met my new friend Silkh. She came to my box I lived in and decorated and made it bigger. Soon after, I was introduced to more members of Salty Zombies. Honestly, I probably would have moved on if it wasn’t for the incredible community at Saltys. I am so happy my friend stumbled across their server because I couldn’t ask for a better group to game with.

Then one day, I saw a post looking for new Moderators. I was already planning on sticking around due to the community, so I figured why not. I already loved helping players in the game and meeting new people. So this role was right up my alley. I am a bit of a social bug in real life, and I have no problems talking to strangers. So here I am now, a moderator for Salty Zombies. So, if you see me in any chat room, come and say hi. I would love to meet you too.

A little bit about the non-gamer side of myself. I have a wife, two kiddos, a dog and some farm animals. My family and friends tell me I am a hillbilly at heart with a touch of a city boy. I love nature and being outside by the water. I love gardening and growing my own crops because you Can’t beat fresh produce. If I am not working doing concrete, I am doing stuff with the family. My relaxing time I try to spend playing games.
